PT Pembangkit Jawa Bali (PJB) held a seminar and exhibition PJB CONNECT (Conference & Exhibition of Technology) 2019. This exhibition brought together various parties involved in the world of electricity both from within and outside the country.
The theme raised in the event was Facing Future Energy & Operational Excellence. This looks at the phenomenon of Decarbonization, Digitalization, and Decentralization (3D) in the energy world.
The event was opened by the Director General of Electricity, Mr. Rida Mulyana, Director of PJB, Mr. Iwan Agung Firstantara, and Regional Business Director of East Java, Bali and Nusa Tenggara PT PLN (Persero), Mr. Supangkat Iwan Santoso.
3D phenomenon is considered to encourage the development of renewable energy technology, innovation in energy storage, digitization, and increased distribution and generation of energy to further accelerate the global energy transition movement Director of PT Pembangkit Jawa Bali (PJB) Mr. Iwan Agung Firstantara hopes that this forum will be a liaison between various stakeholders in the world of electricity, such as the link between the electricity supply chain and the users, the link between the ideas of developing electricity in the academic environment into the industrial world, as well as liaison between issues of international standards into the national industry.
In accordance with the theme of PJB CONNECT 2019 this year, PJB Services launches an application platform called PowerXellence, which is a digital platform as a solution for customer needs and problems, not only in B2C (Business to Customer) but also B2B (Business to Business) Schemes, so the power plant will be operated in a more reliable and efficient way. Power Xellence is supported by the latest technology tools and experienced experts.
The exhibition was attended by 80 vendors both from within and from abroad, and was held for 2 days from 29-30 October 2019, SIAP Reaching The Sky!
