Innovation in digital power generation management continues to be developed by PJB Services in responding to the challenges and dynamics of the power plant business, besides being required to always be safe and reliable in the midst of a pandemic condition which directly affects financial efficiency in all aspects.
This then inspired an innovation called the Implementation of Model 3 Generation Management and was based on Maximo’s Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), which was the result of collaboration with the PJBS Center of Excellence through strengthening COMANDO (Condition Monitoring and Data Operation) with the latest product, Online. Monitoring Supervisory of Work Execution (OMS) supported by experts in the field of power generation.
PJB Services through the management of the Tembilahan PLTU O&M Service Unit is lined up as a pilot project and also supports the flagship program launched by PT PJB. This initial step was inaugurated yesterday at the Go Live Implementation of Model 3 Governance and CMMS Maximo PLTU Tembilahan on June 12, 2020.
“Reliable and Efficient Power Plant Management (Reforge) is a flagship program that will become a trendsetter. This project is inspired by retail shops with superior planning, concept and quality, as well as skilled experts. This project emphasizes on clean, lean, and customer focus. “And the Tembilahan PLTU is the first pilot project that will be followed by other generators,” said PT PJB President Director Iwan Agung in his remarks as well as appreciation to all management and employees of Tembilahan PLTU and the Model 3 Governance Implementation Team of PT PJB and PJB Services.
This was followed by remarks by the Regional Director of PLN (Persero) SumKal Wiluyo who said that there were 6 Sumatra Regional power plants that had been managed by AMC (Asset Management Contract) namely PLTU Pangkalan Susu, PLTGM Arun, PLTU Tenayan, PLTU Bangka, PLTU Belitung and PLTU Tembilahan. Here, the SumKal region will continue to prioritize generator reliability.
With the Integrated Information System (SIT) and remote management at PLTU Tembilahan, PJB Servies will provide customers with various choices, a business model for managing O&M services that is more systematic, structured and measurable in order to meet the targets of the Company’s Long Term Plan (RJPP), Work Plan and Budget. Company (RKAP) and unit performance, once again with optimal, efficient and reliable results.
