Ramadan is a blessed month, the month of love and affection, in this month Allah reward reward many times over for those who do good. And as a form of corporate social responsibility to the community around, On 29 June, Tim Bakorsiroh PJBS cooperation with CSR PJBS doing social service to two places orphanage adjacent to the location of the headquarters PJBS in Sidoarjo.
The first place visited was Orphanage located in the Semambung village Gedangan subdistrict of Sidoarjo, this orphanage accommodate at least 25 children with an average age ranging from 2 to 10 years established since 2012.
A total of 25 packages of stationery and school supplies were distributed to all occupants of the orphanage, and PJBS also provide of 3.5 million rupiah to the orphanage management.
The next is visiting Muzdalifah Orphanage, which is located in the Waru Village of Sidoarjo, this orphanage caring for at least 27 orphans with a couple of husband-wife as their sitter, There are two toddlers as young as 3 years.
In general, the conditions in this orphanage is even more concerning than the previous orphanage. Limited funds, facilities, and personnel caregivers are the main factors that caused their condition became concerning.
In all these limitations Muzdalifah (founder) and her husband keep the spirit and always prayed to God to expect goodness for children, because there is no happiness that can be replaced in addition to seeing children grow healthy and cheerful.
And this time PJBS also distributed 25 packages of stationery and school supplies were distributed to all occupants of the orphanage, and PJBS also provide of 4 million rupiah to the orphanage management.
Supreme and Univerally of Islam puts orphans in a very noble position, Islam teaches to love them and forbid perform actions that could offend them. Many verses of Al-Qur’an and the hadiths of the Prophet who explained about good deeds and glorify orphans. Among them;
“And do good to the parents and relatives and orphans and the poor.” (Surat al Baqoroh, 2: 83)
